Employing a premium, high-quality proppant can address many of the fluid dynamics and physical detriments encountered downhole, but to wholly benefit, effective fracture cleanup is critical. Hallux Talon’s proprietary enzyme systems target fluid damage that can occupy pore spaces within a proppant pack and/or reside in narrow far-field fractures, significantly impacting the delivery of hydrocarbons throughout the fracture network. Hallux Talon’s proprietary enzyme systems act as chemical catalysts and are designed to target and accelerate the breakdown of common viscosifiers used in hydraulic fracturing fluids. Our proprietary enzyme systems can be pumped as a liquid additive during the fracturing treatment or for longer-term production assurance, as the active component of XLGUARD, delivered directly into the proppant pack.
